13 Curves is a high energy, in-your-face 80's style rock band from Syracuse, NY. Formed in 2018 by guitarist and founder Jim Cerio, the name 13 Curves was chosen to honor a long-time CNY legend of the Ghost Bride of 13 Curves. Over ninety years ago, a brutal, terrifying car accident occurred on Cedarvale Road, just ten miles southwest of Syracuse. Since that fateful day some nine decades ago, it has been said that the road, which is known better by its nickname, “13 Curves,” has been haunted by the souls of those who died in this tragic accident.
13 Curves has grown steadily, gaining a strong following and an impressive portfolio of venues. Playing venues from Alexandria Bay to Cortland, Oneida to Seneca Falls, 13 Curves will entertain fans young and old alike. Playing music from Styx, Journey, Heart, REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, KISS, Lynyrd Skynard, Poison, Foreigner, GnR, Toto, Warrant and more. Lead singer Jenn Romano, though pint sized, puts on a huge show with an even bigger voice and presence. Central New York music veterans, Jim Cerio, Rob Modugno and Mike Skowron anchor the line-up and newcomer Sean McClean tops it off!
The band has played Tioga Downs, The NYS Fair, Brennan's Beach, Average Joe's, Skiff's-ABay, Colloca Winery, along with most other music venues in CNY.

Sights And Sounds:
13 Curves Is:
Growing up in a CNY musical family Jenn was exposed to all types of music at a very young age. Through the years her passion for singing continued to blossom and she would often wow audiences at karaoke bars & open mic nights. After having shared the stage with a number of prominent Central New York acts such as TJ Sacco, 3 Inch Fury and The Terry & Joe Acoustic Show, Jenn now finds herself at home in the spotlight.
Jenn sites a variety of musical influences ranging from 80’s hair band favorites to tunes Rob affectionately refers to as “angry chick songs" from artists the likes of Miranda Lambert, Stevie Nicks and more.
Jenn Romano - Vox
Jim has been seen playing regularly in the CNY music scene with projects like Rhythm Method. Jim lists his influences as Classic Rock from bands such as KISS, Led Zeppelin, Doobie Brothers, Lynard Skynard and Journey. His straight up rock style blends old-school Chuck Berry style sensibilities sprinkled with modern flash that comes from years of searching for a voice of his own. Though he has played larger venues like Balloonfest, NYS Fair and the Landmark, he prefers the intimacy of the small venue. The club scene is where his fun, playful stage persona and tongue in cheek humorous interaction with the crowd matches his easy-going, yet driven attitude.
